Dental Toxicity

It has been a couple weeks since I have blogged. These last weeks I have focused on our kids at home and preparing for Ryan’s return. Ever since my arrival the kids, especially Arthur, have clinged to me like never before. While they don’t understand the extent of the situation, they do understand that daddy is gone for a long time and it has been my duty to fill their love tanks so their little hearts are kept at peace. It’s amazing how much you can let go when one realizes there is nothing more important than the presence of those you love and how much those little people love and need you.

I actually have half a dozen blog post ‘almost done’ that I look forward to publishing soon. I’ll also be backdating several posts as they are completed so our timeline stays intact. In the meantime, here’s a glimpse into Ryan’s latest procedure that we chose to add for some very important reasons.

To begin, for several years our local dentist highly recommended Ryan to have his wisdom teeth removed, but it was something Ryan just never followed thru. The wisdom teeth have given him much trouble including continual moving of other teeths in the mouth due to over-crowdness. We researched and compared costs for wisdom teeth removal along with root canal and mercury filling removal. In the end, it made the most sense financially and for recovery to have the procedure in Tijuana.

Tuesday, November 24th Ryan had his wisdom teeth removed, his silver (mercury) filling replaced with a plasma covering of his own blood and the root canal tooth removed. It was a long 7 hour procedure as his wisdom teeth were sideways and the roots were quite long, per the dental surgeon. While it was the best decision and one that I’m thankful he made, it came with side effects. Anyone that has been thru this process knows that having your wisdom teeth removed is painful and requires several days if not a week or two of recovery. My heart just hurt for him as I could tell this was a tough recovery and one that caused him to lose the ability to eat all the foods he normally enjoys at the hospital. At day five he is improving greatly and we look forward to a complete recovery so that he may enjoy his normal foods again.

To further elaborate as to why Ryan chose these procedures, especially at this time, here are some references:

Silver Fillings (aka Dental Amalgam): because the fillings look silver, society has been misinformed to believe that those fillings are mostly silver. In fact, the FDA provides the truth behind those fillings in their own website:

Dental amalgam is a mixture of metals, consisting of liquid (elemental) mercury and a powdered alloy composed of silver, tin, and copper. Approximately 50% of dental amalgam is elemental mercury by weight.  The chemical properties of elemental mercury allow it to react with and bind together the silver/copper/tin alloy particles to form an amalgam. . . the dentist mixes the powdered alloy with the liquid mercury to form an amalgam putty.

[reading further into the FDA web page …]

Potential Risks: Dental amalgam contains elemental mercury. It releases low levels of mercury in the form of a vapor that can be inhaled and absorbed by the lungs. High levels of mercury vapor exposure are associated with adverse effects in the brain and the kidneys.

Root Canals:
First of all, since when is it a good idea to leave a dead body part IN your body a wise idea? There are no other medical procedures done that allow something dead to stay in the body. There’s much to say on this topic and of course the AMA, ADA and FDA don’t want us to know a lot of medical truths about its billion dollar revenue procedure.

“Dr. Thomas Rau, who runs the Paracelsus Clinic (cancer clinic since 1958) in Switzerland recently checked the records of the last 150 breast cancer patients treated in his clinic. He found that 147 of them (98%) had one or more root canal teeth on the same meridian as the original breast cancer tumor. His clinic has a biological dentist section where all cancer patients, on reporting in, have their mouth cleaned up first — especially all root canal teeth removed. There are about 24 million root canals done in the U.S. alone every year. They were proven deadly disease agents in 1925 in a study by Dr. Weston Price and 60 prominent researchers. That study has been suppressed ever since by the ADA and the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).”

(The Independent Cancer Research Foundation, and

while the ADA continually discredits the immense study done by Dr. Price and his 60 constituents . . .

The American Dental Association claims root canals have been proven safe, but they have NO published data or actual research to substantiate this claim. ~

Here’s another good link that speaks about root canals and the disease links:
In addition, I shortly spoke about additional reasons we were looking into these procedures in blogpost: Day 7

As most of our blog goes against the norm in the US, I am simply sharing our adventure as it is. We have felt all througout that we want to be honest, truthful and provide much of the information we are continuing to learn. Please know that just becuase you have a Root Canal it does not mean you will get Cancer. Just because you have a silver filling does not mean you will end up with a degenerative disease. We are simply sharing what we believe best for Ryan. However, if you are experiencing certain diseases, including cancer (especially Breast Cancer) my suggestion is that one goes and does the research to satisfy one’s belief.

Live loved,
Live free . . . because YOLO!

  1. I stumbled across your amazing blog today and let me tell you, it’s confirming everything I’ve been learning over the past few years. I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer twice, at 25 and 27, and I had a root canal done at 23 that still bothers me to this day, 10 years later! This has encouraged me to seek out a biological dentist near me and get this removed. Thank you SO much, and may God continue to lead your family on this journey! Healing will manifest!
